Schweizer Filmschaffende haben die Möglichkeit, sowohl an MEDIA-geförderten, als auch an durch die MEDIA-Ersatzmassnahmen unterstützten Weiterbildungen teilzunehmen.
MEDIA Desk Suisse publiziert die Get Trained!-Broschüre mit Kurzbeschreibungen aller Weiterbildungen, aufgeteilt nach folgenden Bereichen:
- Drehbuch und Entwicklung von Spiel-, Dokumentar und Animationsfilmen, sowie TV-Serien
- Produktion, Koproduktion und Postproduktion

Weiterbildungszuschüsse
Um die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Schweizer Filmbranche und die europäische Vernetzung zu fördern, stellt das Bundesamt für Kultur im Rahmen der MEDIA-Ersatzmassnahmen Zuschüsse für die Teilnahme an MEDIA oder MEDIA-Ersatzmassnahmen geförderten Weiterbildungen zur Verfügung.
Aktuelle Deadlines
In unserer aktualisierten Get Trained!-Broschüre finden Sie rund 80 Weiterbildungen, die mit Unterstützung von Creative Europe oder der Schweizer MEDIA-Ersatzmassnahmen in ganz Europa angeboten werden. Die Workshops bieten ganz nebenbei exzellente Möglichkeiten zur internationalen Vernetzung.
Schweizer Filmschaffende haben normalerweise zu allen in unserer Broschüre aufgelisteten Veranstaltungen Zugang. Personen mit zusätzlicher Nationalität eines EU- oder Creative Europe-Mitgliedslandes empfehlen wir, diese Nationalität bei der Anmeldung anzugeben. Sollten Sie wegen Ihrer Schweizer Nationalität abgelehnt werden, geben Sie uns bitte bescheid.
Zusammen mit dem Bundesamt für Kultur (BAK) bietet MEDIA Desk Suisse Schweizer Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern Unterstützungsbeiträge zu den Kosten an. Weitere Infos dazu hier.

MFI Scrip 2 Film Workshops | Mediterranean Film Institute
The programme consists of 3 project-based development labs, for feature films, documentaries and TV series respectively, applying innovative tools and strategies to script and project development.

A course on 3D character animation that takes participants through lectures and production assignments.

ACE Producers Workshop | ACE Producers
18 film producers with a feature film project are accepted into the ACE’s Annual Programme. Four events make up the training programme, held in four different locations. Topics include content development, financing strategies, business prospects and networking.

Animated TV Series and TV Specials | La Poudrière
This 11-week module is designed for graduates and young professionals in animation and focuses on scriptwriting and project development for TV specials and series. Participants will be writing a script for a TV special adapted from a work of young adult literature and then develop a concept for a TV or web-based series. They will also attend the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, gaining exposure to global animation trends and networking opportunities.

Ex Oriente Film Training | Institute of Documentary Film
The programme is for documentary filmmakers with projects in the development and early production stage.
